Anti-Cult Law in France Due to a busy political agenda, involving amendments to the electoral law, the vote in the French Senate on the anti-cult law (in the text most recently amended) did not take place on January 25 as scheduled and and may not happen before March, or even later. See our update of January 11 for the current situation of the text.
In the meantime, the French Senate has published a useful comparation table (in PDF and in French) comparing the three subsequent and different texts of the draft law, and how each would change existing legislation.
