kernunnosThe Reverend Lorenzo Banfi, anchorman of the radio broadcast “Return to the Forest” (on Radio Padania Libera), founder member of the Terra Insubre Cultural Association and a long-time scholar of the Celtic-Germanic culture, announces the foundation of the REFORMED SPIRITUAL MOVEMENT OF THE NATIVES OF INSUBRIA. What follows is the presentation by the Reverend himself..

1. WHY THE REFORMED SPIRITUAL MOVEMENT OF THE NATIVES OF INSUBRIA IS BORN

 

We have felt for a long time the need to gather the strengths of those who have awakened from the torpor in which christianity has held them from their earliest years, and who have now turned their hope towards the ancient Gods. This hope is not fruit of any reasoning or philosophical speculation which tends to “create” cosmogonies by a mere human and psychological activity. On the contrary, it comes from a sort of intuition which cannot be explained by logic, and which we call vocation.

THE REFORMED SPIRITUAL MOVEMENT OF THE NATIVES OF INSUBRIA is therefore born in order to gather those who feel foreign to the christian religion by now, and who tend to recover their spirituality within the cult of the ancient Gods of their own nation.

2. WHY IT IS DEFINED “REFORMED”

 

The christian scornfully define as pagans the people who follow this intuition. However, the term “paganism”, although it is used by the descendants of those who were the first to make use of it, badly suits those who turn to the worship of the Gods nowadays.

In fact there is no longer any bond between the present paganism and the traditional one. That is to say, the tradition itself, by human means, was broken off:

“ At the beginning the sun shines and men see the path. But when the sun sets, only the dim moonlight remains to light up their steps a little. Thus torches are lit in order to find the path in the darkness. But then the torches burn out and only the voice remains to show us the way.”

That voice is intuition.

However, the interruption of Tradition prevents us from knowing the names of the Gods of our Land. What is more, even rites and ritual techniques only come to us like an echo which is almost incomprehensible nowadays.

Hence the necessity of reFORMING the so-called “paganism”.

Honestly, none of us owns such knowledge. Therefore, the REFORMED SPIRITUAL MOVEMENT OF THE NATIVES OF INSUBRIA promotes the study of archaic cultures, in particular of those relative to the stocks that make up our ethnos, and furthers its divulgation. The Gods themselves will let us know their way, as well as the way to venerate them.


 

 

We do not believe that our Gods can be defined as Celtic, Germanic or Greek-Roman, simply because the GODS OF INSUBRIA do exist BEFORE any cultural expression that has ever represented them. It is only because of our human inadequacy that we call them by the names which our Celtic and Germanic ancestors gave them. Because their names are unknown to us and we wait for Them to tell us how we shall call Them.

In the same way, we know little or nothing about the rites and ritual techniques. Therefore the study of symbols and myths is necessary. This will allow us, by means of the intellectual knowledge, to get as close as possible to the real knowledge, which will be given us as soon as we are ready.

 

 

2. PERCHE' EL SE DEFINISS RIFORMAA

L'interruzion de la Tradizion, però, la ne impediss de cognoss i nòmm de Dei de la nòstra Terra.

Via de quell, anca i riti e i tecnich rituai me riven domà come on eco oramai quasi incomprensibil.

Gh'è, quindi, el bisògn de riFORMA' el cosidett "paganesim".

In tutta onestà, difatti, nissun de nunch l'è el depositari de qui conoscenz lì. Per sto motiv, el MOVIMENT SPIRITUAL RIFORMAA DI NATIV D'INSUBRIA el promoeuv el studi di coltur arcaich, in particolar qui di stirpi che compònen la nòstra etnìa e en promoeuv la divulgazion. Sarann i Dei stess che ne farann cognoss la soa via e la manera de onorai.

Nunch credom nò che i nòster Dei poden vess definii come celt o german o greco-roman, per el semplice fatt che DEI DE L'INSUBRIA hinn PRIMA de qualsiasi espression coltural che i ha rappresentaa. L'è domà per la nòstra umana inadeguatezza che i ciamom cont i nòmm che gh'hann daa i noster antenaa celt e german. Perchè savemm nò i sò nòmm e spettom che sien lor a dinn come i dovaremm ciamà.

A la stessa manera, pòcch o nient cognossom di riti e di tecnich rituai. Per quest l'è necessari el studi di simbol e di mitt, che el ne consentirà de visinass el pussee possibil, per mezzo de la conoscenza intellettual, a la vera conoscenza, che la ne vegnarà dada quand saremm pront.

 

 

3. WHY IT IS DEFINED “OF THE NATIVES OF INSUBRIA”

 

Little has come to us from our ancestors about the Gods of our nation. We know some of their Celtic names along with those assigned to them by the Latin interpretatio, as well as those coming from our Gothic-Longobard ancestors. What we are sure of is that the cult of the Mothers was widespread all over the country, and especially the cult of the Goddess of the Insubrian people (which was called Athena by the Romans); Her insignia, called immovable, were moved from the temple of the Goddess in Mediolanum by the Insubrian warriors in order to wage war against the Roman invaders.

So, in the first place the followers of the REFORMED SPIRITUAL MOVEMENT OF THE NATIVES OF INSUBRIA honour the GODDESS as MOTHER OF THE INSUBRIANS.

Therefore its members call one another BROTHERS AND SISTERS OF INSUBRIA.

It is a spiritual moviment whose nature is genuinely national, because it defines the nation as the community of the children of the same Mother, Insubria, i.e. the territorial hypostasis of Mother Earth.


 

3. PERCHE' EL SE DEFINISS DI NATIV D'INSUBRIA

 

Pòcch ròbb n'è rivaa di nòster antenaa in sui Dei de la nòstra nazion.

Savemm on quaivun di sò nòmm celtich mettuu taccaa a qui che gh'ha daa l'interpretatio latina, e qui di antenaa goto- longobard. Quell che semm sicur l'è che gh'era viv el cult di Mader, in su tutt el territori, e soratutt quell de la Dea di Insuber (ciamada Athena di roman), che i sò insegn, che ghe diseven inamovibil, hinn staa portaa via del tempio de Mediolanum de la stessa Dea di guerrier Insuber per andà in battaglia contra i invasor roman.

In prima, donca, i aderent al MOVIMENT SPIRITUAL RIFORMAA DI NATIV D'INSUBRIA onoren la Dea in quant MADER DI INSUBER.

Per quest qui che'n fann part se definissen FRADEI E SORELL D'INSUBRIA.

Se tratta de on moviment spiritual a caratter genuinament nazional, in quant el definiss la nazion come comunità di fioeu de la stessa Mader, l'Insubria, ipostasi territorial de la Terra Mader.

 

4. WHAT ACTIONS THE REFORMED SPIRITUAL MOVEMENT OF THE NATIVES OF INSUBRIA WILL UNDERTAKE

 

The REFORMED SPIRITUAL MOVEMENT OF THE NATIVES OF INSUBRIA intends to act on the field of the study of the spiritual roots of our nation, as well as on the field of the divulgation of such studies.

There is also an important situation which makes a radical preaching necessary, that is the disastrous condition of our Mother Earth, which is constantly raped and devastated by many of her own children who, only attracted by profit and by their own personal advantage, do not hesitate to poison her springs, which are sacred to the Gods, as well as the territory in general, and so they make it uninhabitable for all Her children: plants, minerals or animals. Thus IT IS THE DUTY OF EVERY INSUBRIAN BROTHER AND SISTER TO BEAR WITNESS, in his/her life and deeds.

The salvation of our MOTHER EARTH is at stake, and that of Her children, too. THE INSUBRIAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS do not conceive salvation as the attainment of a reward in another life; on the contrary, they deem THE HONOUR OF FIGHTING FOR THE GODS AND FOR MOTHER EARTH as a reward.

VICTORY OR DEFEAT ARE THE SAME FOR THOSE WHO FIGHT FOR THE GODS, BECAUSE VICTORY RESIDES IN THE FIGHT ITSELF.

 

In short, the REFORMED SPIRITUAL MOVEMENT OF THE NATIVES OF INSUBRIA is a NATIONAL SPIRITUAL MOVEMENT that founds its action on the active militancy of its members, which acknowledge that they have been placed by FATE or WYRD in this land as WARRIORS, for its salvation and for the salvation of her children.

 

 

4. CHE AZION EL FARA' EL MOVIMENT SPIRITUAL RIFORMAA DI NATIV D'INSUBRIA

 

El MOVIMENT SPIRITUAL RIFORMAA DI NATIV D'INSUBRIA el voeur operà in sul pian di studi di radìs spirituai de la nòstra nazion e in sul pian de la divulgazion de sti studi.

Per quest, ÒGNI FRADELL E SORELLA INSUBER GH'HANN EL COMPIT DE TESTIMONIANZA, in de la soa vita e in di sò òper.

Gh'è in gioeugh la salvezza de la nòstra TERRA MADER e quindi anca di sò fioeu. I FRADEI E I SORELL INSUBER concepissen nò la salvezza come ottegnì on premi in d'on'altra vita, ma ritegnen come premi


 

 

L'ONOR DE LOTTA' PER I DEI E PER LA TERRA MADER. VITTORIA O SCONFITTA HINN ISTESS PER CHI EL SE BATT PER I DEI, PERCHE' LA VITTORIA LA STA IN DE LA LòTTA STESSA.
