Il Jeffrey K. Hadden, Professor of Sociology at the University of Virginia, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon January 26, 2003, after a long battle with cancer. Jeff was an important part of the scholarly community devoted to the study of new religious movements and of religion in general, and a member of the international committee of CESNUR. Please join CESNUR in remembering him, and in keeping his wife Elaine and the rest of Jeff's family in your thoughts and prayers.
