Newton, Massachusetts-AP -- You may have to be a wizard to get a free peek at a preview for the new "Harry Potter" movie.
Some Potter fans have been buying movie tickets to other films, just to see the trailer for "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." Then, they've been asking for their money back. But a movie theater chain in Massachusetts is putting a stop to that. General Cinemas theaters have decided not to give any refunds to people who go just to see the trailer, which is less than two minutes long. A spokesman says if they want to get a glimpse of Harry Potter, "they can't do it for free." This isn't the first time movie fans have tried to get a free sneak-peek. The same thing happened with a preview for the Star Wars movie that came out in 1999. The first Harry Potter movie is due in theaters in November. |
